Watch the following videos in Youtube:
"Pilipino Ako. Teacher Sabrina Ongkiko" and "Discovering your life's true calling" Lou Sabrina Ongkiko"
Based on these videos, "what is our life's true calling? How can you apply that in your calling to teach?
Based on the videos that I have watched, for me our life's true calling is rotating in these three words PURPOSE, CONTEXT, and BELIEF. Because for me whatever you want to be in the future it's your own choice no one can take that away from you.
I can apply it in my calling to teach, because of these three words PURPOSE, CONTEXT and BELIEF. First is we have Purpose, what is our purpose why we choose this profession, for me my purpose why I choose to be an Educator someday because I want to teach every students, teach everything that I have learned from my experiences, next is we have Context, we must know the context why we are here in our chosen profession, what are the things that we must change in terms of teaching and making students become more comfortable everyday that we teach them. And the last we have Belief, what are the things that keeps making us to hang tight to that word belief, belief that every students can make a change, be one of the profession that they dreaming of. Because as a teacher, we are molding every children to be a better person, and help them to reach their greatest dreams in their lives.

Write a short reflection about your activities (Performance-based Task 1 & 2). Explain your thoughts about the historical foundations, legal basis and curricular reforms in the Philippines.
In our Performance-based Task 1 & 2, we interview some people who are teaching even though the degree that they finished is to far from the teaching profession. I feel very inspire because they they share what they have learned about the degree that they have finished.
The Education in the Philippines widen because of some other counties that influence us. The Education system in the philippines has been more advanced as years passed by. Now, the philippines education system is aiming to develop a better and more accessible education for all the children in our country, develop and construct a clean, safe and a child-friendly school for everyone.

1. Does the teaching profession fulfill all the elements of a profession?
Yes, the teaching profession fulfill all the elments of a profession, because for me being an educator you need to undergo all the process on how to be a professional teacher you need to start from the very first element of Professionalism, you need to study first from your chossen profession and undergo to the next one until you fulfill all the elements of Professionalism and also being a teacher requires a lot of responsibilities not just like any other profession because if you are a teacher all the positive characteristics of a person you need to attain it, because being a teacher you have a very big responsibilities to all the children inside the school not just inside the school but also outside because if you are a teacher you need be one either inside or outside the school campus.
2. Why does a teaching profession require a long years of initial professional education and continuing professional development after the long, ardous initial professional education?
Teaching profession require a long years of initial professional education and continuing professional development after the long, ardous initial professional education, for us future educators to really understand what is meant to be a teacher, for us to understand how are students learn from, what are the possible strategies we can use for the students to learn better, what are the specific instructional materials we can use for teaching, and for us future educators to learn how to be a professional and effective teacher.
3. Is Professionalization synonymous with Professionalism?
Yes, Professionalization is synonymous with Professionalism because when we say Professionalization it is a process of how to become a professional and Professionalism it is the way how you interact with other people, how you dress based on your profession, and how are you going to act based on your profession, that's why they are
synonymous with each other.
